The legend of the Demon Car dates back to 200X, but the entity may have existed long before the first documented encounter. The car is described by multiple witnesses as a solid black 60's or 70's muscle car with haunting headlights. Its engine is said to sound akin to the angry roar of a vicious animal. It has certainly earned the title of urban legend.

Sightings

The first known appearance of the Demon Car was when a local politician was struck by the car in the Crucero Town Square. Witnesses say the vehicle seemed to materialize out of nowhere like a dark phantom. After the attack, it disappeared and was never tracked down.

Origins

According to legend, it is said the car is haunted by an African American man who was wrongfully killed by police or white vigilantes in the late 80's or early 90's. He was burned alive in his car, the vehicle from which he now enacts his revenge. Records show that several incidents of car-related deaths in the Crucero area between 1985-1995 do match up with this theory of origin, meaning it's very possible that one of those deaths resulted in the haunted Demon Car.

Do You Believe?

Skeptics argue that the Demon Car is nothing more than an elaborate hoax, a figment of overactive imaginations. However, those who claim to have experienced its terror stand firm in their belief that something supernatural haunts the city streets. What more could be hidden by our ghosts?

Whether you dismiss it as a mere tale or clutch your steering wheel a bit tighter at night, the legend of the Demon Car persists, weaving its way into the fabric of Crucero's folklore. As you navigate the roads after sunset, keep your senses sharp, for you never know when the ominous hum of an otherworldly engine might pierce the stillness, signaling the arrival of the Demon Car. Drive safely, and may you never find yourself alone on a darkened street, face-to-face with the spectral menace that haunts our enigmatic city.
